What began as a shared desire to break away from the safe, neutral palettes that have long dominated interior design, has now become a visual language in its own right. With the newest release in the Koi Collection, we continue to explore what it means to design spaces that not only look beautiful, but feel meaningful.

At the heart of this collection lies a simple but powerful question:

This second drop of the Koi Collection introduces a carefully expanded palette. Adding new tones to existing designs and deepening the range of mood, expression and personality that each wall can hold. Where part one established the foundation, part two brings the emotional nuance that turns a space into a story.
These new hues are designed to support both bold expressions and quiet reflections and most importantly, they help create rooms that feel complete, even as life within them continues to evolve.
Designing for timelessness
In an industry often ruled by change, the idea of timelessness can feel elusive. But Koi sees it differently. To them, a well-chosen tone can evoke memory, set the mood, and gently influence how we feel day to day. It can make a room feel bigger, softer, warmer or more alive. And when integrated into wall murals with thoughtful stripes, layers, or subtle movement, the effect becomes architectural.

With the latest release, three of the murals in the Koi Collection are now available in expanded color options selected with care by Dagny Thurmann-Moe.
The goal is not to overwhelm, but to guide. For each design, complementary tones are suggested, not only for walls, but for ceilings, trims, and accent details. Painting the ceiling (or what we refer to as “the fifth wall”) in a supporting shade can soften contrast and give a space a more considered, immersive feel.
In this second installment of the collection, we revisit three beloved mural designs with a fresh perspective introducing four new colorways that explore the transformative power of blue and brown. Subtle yet expressive, these new shades offers a deeper, more nuanced palette to work with. With this launch, we set out to show how color alone can shift the entire atmosphere of a room. From grounded and tactile to calm and composed. These hues are more than surface-deep, they invite to explore combinations that feel safe yet resonate with cultural richness and quiet personality.
