The Story Behind - Earth Modernism

Green tones and especially deep and warm olive green colors have caught our radar lately. Captured both within the fashion scene and the latest runway shows like Gucci, combining tonal deep green colors together with burgundy or when Victoria Beckham's boutique hosted an art exhibition together with Sotheby's all drenched in deep olive green backdrop.

The reference of nature is present as always, since nature is something we are constantly drawn to, one way or another. However we see a much more immersive use of the color.  We want to surround ourselves with colors that ease our minds, preferably without the white ceiling or mainstream floor.

The Collection

In this collection, we gathered five of our designs and gave them a stunning olive green color. They are designed to bring the beauty of nature indoors and embrace the principles of biophilic design. Our designs vary, ranging from treetops to soft hills, landscapes, and textures, yet all successfully integrate the restorative qualities of nature into your surroundings.

Wild forest is a customer favorite that creates an illusion of a forest that covers your entire space. It works wonders for both walls and ceiling but paired with Sky Wild Forest you can create a statement in the room, where the overgrown feeling makes the room feel complete and surrounded by nature.

Your bedroom should be a sanctuary of calm and security. Instead of a stark, white palette, consider a gentle green that allows your eyes and mind to rest. A landscape wall mural  provides an immediate sense of peace. In this particular space, the olive tone, especially with a timeless design like Asian Scenery, offers a calm yet captivating bedroom aesthetic. The deep, neutral green creates a serene and immersive ambiance.

Green evokes the serenity of peaceful forests and quiet gardens. This color naturally creates a calm and soothing atmosphere in your home, ideal for unwinding after a busy day. The thoughtful combination of diverse surfaces, such as wood, fabrics, and chrome, enhances the room's overall harmony and to cultivate a truly tranquil room. A well-chosen wall mural can further enliven your furniture and add a sense of depth to your space.

In today's fast-paced society, home is our sanctuary, and the living room is its heart. It's the place where we gather with family and friends, share laughter and create memories. The living room is the social gathering place that reflects our personality and lifestyle.

The gentle, earthy tones in Soft Hills work beautifully with wooden furniture and soft textures, creating a space that feels connected to nature. Combining olive green with other colors can seem like a big step, but it's a delightful way to add interest to your room. Blending olive green with different shades of green, a touch of red, or even a deeper blue can create a truly captivating space.

The warm yellow undertone in olive green pairs perfectly with warmer tones but we can not forget the importance of some contrast. In this case the key element to complement the olive green is the stainless steel and cool grey concrete floor.

We often see beige and brown in our homes, and it's easy to overlook other neutral hues, such as green. Green is a versatile color that complements a wide range of rooms and surfaces.

How to style

The color's versatility can be applied to a range of distinct atmospheres, from contemporary and minimalist to opulent and refined. Furthermore, it can contribute to a biophilic design, fostering a connection with nature, or lend an industrial aesthetic. The breadth of design possibilities offered by olive green is extensive.

Interior design is constantly evolving as we now dare to break traditional norms. The iconic USM bureau in a bold, sunny yellow color, adds a pop of color that brightens up the entire space. This yellow, with green walls and bold color combinations, give the room the italian modernism style, with fun shapes and bright colors. This combination is what makes our hearts skip a beat and takes the green tones into a new direction.
